About Carraway Hill
Established in 2019, Carraway Hill is a hunter/jumper show barn located in Westerville, Ohio. The team is led by owner and USHJA certified trainer, Colleen Holton. Offering the best in training and horse care, Carraway Hill staff is dedicated to bringing out the best in our horses and riders.
Colleen Holton
Owner/Trainer
Colleen Holton is a USHJA Certified Trainer. She started her riding career at the age of four. She competed in the pony hunter divisions for several years before moving on to a successful career in the junior hunter and jumper rings. During this time, she earned the WCHR High Point Junior rider title, was the NAL and WIHS year end winner, and was awarded multiple sportsmanship awards.
Colleen advanced her education in the equine industry by working for and studying under many top professionals. As a professional, she has won multiple ribbons in USHJA National & International Derbies on client and sale horses. From each of the top hunter/jumper programs she was a part of, Colleen gained valuable knowledge and experience in training horses and riders, horse care, and barn management.
Colleen has a passion for excellence and an eye for detail. She has a love of horses and enjoys teaching and working with people.
Andrea Meoak
Barn Manager/Trainer
Andrea Meoak is a lifelong equestrian and experienced equine professional. She has studied and trained with top trainers and judges, including her mentor, the well known author and trainer, Paul Belasik. She has earned USDF Bronze and Silver Medals, along with USDF Bronze and Silver Freestyle Bars.
With a background both in hunters/jumpers and dressage, Andrea shares her love of classical dressage in weekly lessons. Her lessons focus on proper rider biomechanics, with specific exercises tailored to help each individual horse and rider improve. It is her greatest joy to help riders discover that their flat work can be fun and rewarding!
Additionally, Andrea oversees the management of horses, staff, and facilities. Her comprehensive care and years of equine experience supports a thriving environment.
